Follow this guide to install JoyConnect π
- Open up SystmOne
- Open up the patient record of a dummy patient with an NHS number or real patient on SystmOne
- Joy is bundled with an auto-updater and we would recommend downloading and installing an older version to validate that the automated patch process is working.
- Installation version
- Latest Version. (installation will update to this)
- Click 'download' on the file
- Using the arrow in the top right-hand corner of your screen, click on the downloaded file to open it
- Once you have clicked to open the file you will see the below window and then click 'More info':
- Then click 'Run anyway'
- Click install on the JoyConnect setup window
If you cannot see this window please look at the bottom of your screen for this icon:
If you click this icon it will open the window.
9. Once installation is successful click 'close' on this window
10. Click 'approve' on the device approval window that will appear
Please note, if you have more than one instance of SystmOne open this approval window will appear on the first one that you opened.
11. Enter the name of your device and click 'ok'
Please note that this name is not important and can be left as the default name. It may take a few minutes for the JoyConnect account creation window to appear
12. Enter an email and password into the JoyConnect window, select the tickbox to agree and then click 'Create Account'
Please note that this password must be 8 characters long with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and a number. This can be different from your SystmOne login credentials.
You should see a JoyConnect icon on your taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
13. The JoyConnect widget should appear
If this widget does not appear please wait a couple of minutes and check for a pink conversation box in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen. Click on this icon.
14. To move the JoyConnect widget you can drag it around
15. To open up JoyConnect click the '+' symbol next to Joy
